HQ Self-Locking Inserts Locking & Sealing -60°F to 250°F ND "HQ" (High-Quality) Self-Locking Threaded Inserts are constructed of lightweight molybdenum, disulfidecoated, stainless steel with a nylon strip element that provides positive locking action for both internal and external threads.
ND Patch® Locking & Sealing -70°F to 250°F The ND Patch and ND Patch 360° Ring processes make threaded fasteners of all sizes and configurations self-locking and self-sealing. The most common material used is nylon.
ND Patch® Hi-Temp Locking & Sealing -70°F to 500°F The ND Patch Hi-Temp coating process produces a completely dry product that is fused to the fastener and is ready to use right out of the box. Self-locking and self-sealing, ND Patch Hi-Temp performs immediately upon assembly with no curing time required.
ND Pell-It® Locking & Sealing -65°F to 250°F The ND Pell-It is a special, tough nylon plug or pellet, inserted into a drilled hole, which makes any threaded fastener self-locking and self-sealing, while leaving it fully adjustable.
ND Pell-It® Soft Touch Tip Locking -65°F to 250°F ND Pell-It Soft Touch Tip is a pre-applied, self-locking, self-sealing, environmentally friendly material pellet inserted in set screw or bolt ends. The Pell-It permits full-face, cushioned contact with a curved shaft while ensuring a secure hold.
ND Strip® Locking & Sealing -65°F to 250°F Normally a resilient bar of Nylon (other materials available) that is inserted into a slot which has been milled into a threaded fastener, ND Strip makes fasteners self-locking, self-sealing, and yet fully adjustable.
Vibra-TITE® VC-3™ Locking & Sealing -65°F to 165°F Vibra-Tite VC-3 is a powerful locking and sealing coating for threaded fasteners that works on the principle of "friction through viscosity." It utilizes a special blend of acrylic resins to prevent fasteners from loosening -- even under extreme vibration.
