Machine Automation Controls / Application Engineer

Position Summary

Design and Develop Industrial Automation and Machine Vision systems.

• Must have proven track record in product design/development, project management and personnel supervision.
• Strong Analytical Background
• Up to 20% Travel and Support Training Required
• Degree not necessary, although preferred
• 5 Years minimum experience in machine system controls

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical & pneumatic schematic design
• Oversight of floor Electrician / Panel wiring
• Visual Basic, HMI, and PLC Ladder Logic Programming
• PC based Machine Vision and Lighting.
• Supply Application Engineering for Pre and Post Sales support
• Oversight of CE certification compliance for product sales to Europe

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Professional
• Auto CAD 2000-04
• Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500
• PC based Vision Software Programming
• Visual Basic Programming
